All exteriors were refinished, backyard was defined and contained by a new continuous fencing made out of cedar planks stained white. Bathrooms were fully renovated, and an existing kitchenette was refinished keeping existing cabinetry.

Playful Learning took over a deteriorated commercial space in the center of East Hampton village where together with the designers and builders planned what finally turned out to be their new facility.
The project had to consider the expansion of the clients operations and keeping a low budget was a key role during the process. A new layout was proposed adding a new office space and an extra classroom which took in consideration a further growth in Playful operations during the upcoming years.
All exteriors were refinished, backyard was defined and contained by a new continuous fencing made out of cedar planks stained white. Bathrooms were fully renovated, and an existing kitchenette was refinished keeping existing cabinetry.
New hardware and doors were added throughout the project, all flooring was refinished and tiled, carpet, vinyl and damaged areas were refinished matching existing wood flooring.
Some of the featured elements were recycled from the existing structure like exposed beams and columns, shiplap walls which had to be completed matching the existing pattern with recycled material. The project included new landscape for all the perimeter of the building.
